Mercy and Grace:
Mercy – God withholding from us what we DO deserve.
Grace – God giving us what we do NOT deserve.
GRACE NEEDED – “once you were dead” Ephesians 2:1-3
GRACE GIVEN—"but God, because of His great love” Ephesians 2:4-7
GRACE RECEIVED—"for by grace … the gift of God” Ephesians 2:8-9, John 1:12, John 3:16-17
GRACE DISPLAYED TO OTHERS – good deeds (aka “works”) Ephesians 2:9-11, James 2:17, Colossians 1:9-12
