DISCOVERING JESUS

You might wonder: 
OK pastor, I’ve heard you and your message, what does this mean to me and HOW can I get right with God?

Glad you asked!
Let me share a few more things:
God gave His only son Jesus for you and for me and for ALL people from all time who would choose to accept His paying the price on the cross for our sins some 2000 years ago.
God is LOVE.  He doesn’t just have love, He IS LOVE.
But God is also JUST. Thus, He requires payment for transgressions (also known as SIN). Love and Justice; both are a part of God.
God gave us an amazing gift of GRACE, His only Son Jesus who died on the cross for your sin and mine.

God is LOVE.
He doesn’t just have love,
He IS LOVE. 

Everyone who has ever lived is offered this GIFT, but each person needs to decide individually to accept Jesus.
Jesus did for us what we could not do for ourselves, pay the price for our sin so that we might have a RIGHT relationship with Almighty God.

A prayer you could pray, right now:

Dear God, I admit that I have lived an imperfect life.
I have sinned.  I want to accept the free gift of Forgiveness and Salvation that Jesus Christ offers me through the cross and His rising from the grave.  By faith, I accept Him as my Savior and Lord. Come into my heart Lord Jesus, Amen.

Use your own words if you wish, but IF that prayer reflects your sincerity and feelings, then I say HOORAY and WELCOME to the Family of God!

If you live out of our area, you can watch us online, but I encourage you to find a good Bible-based church near where you live and attend there.

As with any new baby or plant or puppy or Believer in Christ, it’s important each gets the right food, water, sunlight and so on to grow well.  Getting into a good church and around other Believers is important.

If you have a Bible, I also encourage you to start reading the Gospel of JOHN. Here you’ll learn about Jesus Christ and His life, ministry and purpose.
